Simple Blocker and Impediment Escalation Rules

Impediments

Team Level

Impediments that will become blockers within the next sprint must be escalated to the Train level within 2 business day of being identified, and be logged and tracked by the STE.

Program/Train Level

Impediments that are not resolved within 5 business days must be escalated to the Solution level and be logged and tracked by the STE.

Blockers

Team Level

Any blocker that occurs must be escalated to the Train Level within 1 Business Day,  and be logged and tracked at that level logged and tracked by the RTE

Program/Train Level

Any blocker reported to the Train Level must be escalated to the Solution/Management Level within 3 business days, logged and tracked by the STE
